The artist who started the revolution of online tickets in Albania

The famous singer Alban Skënderaj recently successfully closed his latest project “Space of a Dream”, which marked a record of success in each of three concert nights with a wonderful performance and a boom in the sales of the tickets for the whole event.

What attracted most attention from the public was the first time sale of online tickets for a concert of this size. Even though it was planned to have only one performance night, tickets for March 2 were sold out in a few hours, so the sale of tickets continued for the second night and the third night.

It was the first time in Albania where people were starting to get educated on online ticket purchases, massively, in a matter of hours, for an artist with such a great influence as Alban Skënderaj. Offering online tickets enabled anyone, in and out of Albania, to buy them in real time, directly from their home or anywhere else they could be.

Electronic tickets were offered at Pentagrami.al, a new event and ticket platform that was inaugurated exactly with the concert ‘Space of a dream’. The platform designed by Connext also made it possible to reserve the seat of the chair clearly showing the layout of the Congress Palace, which made it easier for all buyers to choose their preferred seats.

Real-time online payments were made possible by EasyPay, the Albanian FinTech company, leader in the region, which is changing the e-commerce scene in the country. You might have often seen EasyPay as a payment tool in other online stores because of the efficiency and inclusivity it offers. The free EasyPay mobile application is an electronic wallet that serves all customer segments, those who are accustomed with online payments, but also those who do not have access to banking services and could visit any of the 300 agents across the country.

One of the most beautiful fragments of the concert was the official announcement by Alban Skënderaj that, EasyPay had decided to donate all ticket profits to Down Syndrome Albania. During a conversation with one of the representatives of EasyPay, we realized that the choice of the Down Syndrome Albania Foundation had a special meaning. “Down Syndrome Albania has trusted in EasyPay since our beginnings. We were the first company in Albania that offered online donations, specifically to Down Syndrome Albania. We would like to invite everyone who wants to donate for the International Day of Down Syndrome (March 21st), and inform them that they can visit the EasyPay or Down Syndrome Albania websites where they can make a donation in just a few minutes. ”

Like EasyPay says, ‘Our mission is to make our society more united and inclusive, providing digital services to all categories of customers, as well as putting the right focus on various social causes.’
